Production Pictures

Remember the designs and costumes in progress I posted from the show I was working on in the Fall? Well I finally got some production shots to share. I have also added these to my Flickr portfolio.

This was a fun project to work on. It was different for me as there was no much construction, the costumes were contemporary and realistic, and there was a relatively small cast.

Summer Pictures

I just found these pictures I took over the summer at my family's camp in New Hampshire. They have me feeling very nostalgic for summer even though, or perhaps because, it is absolutely frigid outside.

You can't tell much in these pictures but this was actually a very cloudy, rainy day. I had to stop taking pictures because the light sprinkle turned into a downpour!

Seems like it is the thing to do to do a New Year's resolution post. I didn't want to do one at first because I am not one to do something just because that is what everyone else is doing. However...

I have long felt frustrated about my over abundance of passion coupled with a lack of focus on one particular thing. I just wish there was enough time to do all the things I want to do but there isn't and I get frustrated and give up on things because of it. Because of this I feel like I haven't come close to the full potential of what I can do.

That being said, I feel like this year I have gotten closer to my goal of being more focused and streamlining my goals. Part of it has to do with starting this blog. In addition, there are other things I have in mind the focus on and now comes the following through part!

If I can do this I know the sky is the limit for me.

Costumes in Progress

Remember the show I posted some sketches and renderings from? Here are some pictures of the costumes while they were in progress.

I draped these brightly colored silk fabrics onto black knit shirts and attached them with a snap on the shoulder so the actresses could easily remove them and put them on without getting tangled.

Here are a few more from the same show.

On Thanksgiving I went on a mini road trip to three different New England states. Here are a couple photos taken from the passenger seat. These were taken when passing through this town, which has a very pretty downtown with all white buildings.

I wore my red 60s dress. I have to admit I have worn this dress a lot. It is proving to be very versatile.
